Nexus Media Productions (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides photography, videography, aerial and FPV drone work, Matterport VR tours and digital renderings to companies, events and public institutions across Greater Houston. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and through our production work, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
When you contact us through this site, by email or by phone, we collect what you choose to send: your name, email address, phone number, organization, and the details of the project you are asking about. We use it to answer you, prepare a quote, and carry out work you engage us for. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it for anyone else’s marketing.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, this site and its hosting provider record basic technical information when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and the date and time of the visit. This is used to keep the site secure and working, not to identify you personally.
Photography, video and 3D capture
Our work necessarily involves recording people, places and property. A few commitments about how we handle it:
- We shoot on behalf of a client, and the resulting images, footage and scans are handled according to our agreement with that client.
- At events and in workplaces, it is the client’s responsibility to notify attendees and staff that recording is taking place and to obtain any releases their policies require. We will follow reasonable instructions to avoid recording particular people or areas.
- Aerial and FPV flights are operated under FAA Part 107 rules. We plan flights around airspace restrictions and site access rules, and we do not fly to capture people or property outside the scope of the engagement.
- Matterport scans capture the interior of a space in three dimensions. If a space contains sensitive material, whiteboards, screens or documents, tell us before the scan and we will exclude or blur those areas.
- We keep original files archived so clients can come back for them later. If you are a client and want your originals deleted, ask us and we will do it.
Using our work in our portfolio
We may show work we have produced on this site, in proposals and on our social channels, unless the engagement says otherwise or the client asks us not to. If you appear in something we have published and want it removed, contact us and we will take it down.
Cookies
This site uses cookies that are necessary for it to function, and may set cookies if you submit a form or leave a comment. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies in their settings. Turning off necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of providers to run the business, including our website host and our email provider. They process information only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
How long we keep information
Enquiries are kept while we are in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterward. Project files, contracts and the records we are required to keep for tax and legal purposes are retained for as long as the law requires. Production originals are archived so they remain available to the client.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you receive email from us that you did not ask for, tell us and we will stop.
Security
This site is served over an encrypted connection and our systems are access-controlled. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures to protect what we hold.
Children
This site is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through it. Where our production work involves minors — at a school, a campus or a community event — we rely on the client to obtain the consents their policies and applicable law require.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the business or the law changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
